I would NEVER let Jasper out at a customers home .... period ... He has water and fans in the camper, so there is no need for him to get out when at customers home.

I guess I should have made that understood on the front end. There are protocols at a customers home, just as there are protocols for who goes with me on an appraisal.

Cat and Jasper are included at MY discretion.

Target, my beagle/jack russell mix goes with me on occasion. Ecspecially if it is vacant. I try to keep it to a minimum though bc he is so attached he can't stand to be alone in the car. If he was quieter I would take him all the time.

Buddy and Blenny like to go (see avatar, Blenny is on the left) on inspections sometimes. It really depends if that is what they want to do at that partictular time. Sometimes they would rather sleep than contribute to the family business. Its good to be a dog.

In some parts of Baltimore and DC, a 90lb Black Mouth Cur is a necessity. Real criminals are not deterred by locks, alarms or police. Big dogs that like to protect territory scare the snot out of them.

Dogs are better than most people!

I take my boy with me....he loves his dad and he loves his car. ANY time anyone gets close without permission.......well, they learn a valuable lesson about walking too close to parked cars.

He likes to lay on the seat and waits......someone gets close and he hits the glass, barking.....well, I have seen some little gangsters run like the cops were chasing them!!!

When I am there, he is alert but quiet, and if he has permission, he's a sweetheart. We used to show him until he retired. My clients would always check in on Monday to see if he won!

ALWAYS take him to bad neighborhoods. Summertime, I lock the car door and leave it running with the AC on.......he can't drive...........no thumbs!!!!

Mine has gone a couple times lately. Now with the new SUV, she can lie down in the back when I park and no one ever knows she's there. Now that the whether's warming up, she won't be able to go as much --- if you stop and go into some public place, you're taking the chance that a busy-body will call the cops. Even if you've been gone 5 minutes, they act like you left the dog for hours.

I used to take my cocker spaniel on comp photo trips.. but not for inspection. He loved to ride.. Used to see cockers everywhere, now I don't come across them very often..
He was a great dog, lived to be 16 .. been gone 3 years now. Don't have a dog now. *.*

I'll take Newman with me when I'm taking lot comp photos in outlaying areas.

I never take Hamlet. He doesn't like to ride in cars unless we are going to "visit" grandma's house. He isn't good at protection anyway unless they were covered in peanut butter!

Target, my beagle/jack russell mix

What a cutie! My Trixie is a beagle/dachshund cross. This mix is actually a recognized hybrid now and is called a 'Doxle'.
