The pewter costs more because you can melt it down for bullets when the Zombies come.

Or, I guess, the help can do it.

Same Quantity, Different Quality.

Note: Aluminum gutter by itself ranges from $4 to $8 per linear foot. Copper gutters by itself ranges from $15 to $25 per linear foot. Different quality even within same material.

My eyes! No no no somethings are not reasonable facsimiles. Aluminum looks bad on an antique house. Copper to replace copper. If you worry that the gutters will be stolen by meth heads then split the difference and use the bronzy colored aluminum. Anyone else need free advice?

Notice the $1000 one has no stars. It may be better quality, but by $800? I doubt it. But hey, some people want the best and he!! with the price, I can afford it. :leeann2:

You think those $6 million houses you be appraising in LA have Kohler Chrome Faucets that are $250? :)

The same linear feet but copper costs more. This was my point.

Most of the places I work have copper gutters due to corrosive salt air.

Certainly not. They have the most expensive stuff money can buy. That is their bragging point. Spared no expense.
The rest of us can brag about the good deal we got for 1/2 off that Kohler brushed nickel faucet. And saved money on the diy install.
Chrome is out, dontchaknow? :leeann2:

SUBJECTIVE quality is the level of perceived value reported by the person who benefits from a process or its outcome. It may subsume various intermediate quality measures, both objective and subjective. ... Quality is an ever evolving perception by the customer of the value provided by a product.
