It’s true, I can only imagine the amount of money the GSEs have been paying the software providers to redo their systems.
Doesnt suck you guys would just ***** and moan about all the glitches and how you hated it and nobody could get ever get anything done. That's why the GSEs and software providers have Beta Testers to work through the bugs and by the time the appraisers get their software 95% of the bugs will have been solved and fixed.Well, that sucks. Just release it and let appraisers test drive it, and some of the angst may disappear. But the course providers won’t have anything to sell. Almost like something was planned…..
Perfect....this is when all appraisers should slam on the brakes and refuse to provide any services to AMCs. Throw a press release out to major media outlets and jam a big stick in the spokes....the three major software providers are heavily invested and the GSEs are full in and by mid 2026 you can kiss your old UAD forms good bye for good.
Now your thinking like a winner because 30% of the doom and gloomers are going to be leaving. I'm sure Fannie has already factored in a easy 20% plus of old timers quitting just over the new forms.Appraisers are also notorious for adapting to change with relative ease. Far moreso than any other profession I’m aware off.
Changes should always be good for me. Regardless of how idiotic they are. More appraisers quit, no one getting in = less appraisers, I should be able to charge 700-1000 soon. Easily if/when refis pick up. Once trump kicks Powell to the curb and rates drop, I might have to bring this back from a gig to full time. Maybe I’ll hit my first 300k year. Honestly figured I’d be there by now. Better late than never I suppose.
Any more than your P..ing and moaning in this thread?Doesnt suck you guys would just ***** and moan about all the glitches and how you hated it and nobody could get ever get anything done. Appraisers are notorious for panicky behavior and should never be allowed to test drive anything because they're going to crash it. Hell nobody's even using it yet and their already saying how bad it's going to be and how it will fail. Lol )
How do you test drive something that orders are not being sent out yet to any appraisers ? The Beta Testers at the GSE and Software Companies are doing the pre release testing on the technical side.Any more than your P..ing and moaning in this thread?
Again, it's not unreasonable to ask to test drive the industry and life changing software that will be rolled out in a few weeks. Or maybe as you say, it's all just hype. And if it is just hype, it isn't appraisers who hyped it
Oh c'mon, you act like the software doesn't work unless I have an order from a lender or it's hooked up to a GSE. Again, we should be able to fill out a test report without having to submit it to a client or GSE, just the same way I generate sample reports now. The idea that my first 3.6 report generated will be sent to a lender is ridiculous. How do you test drive something that orders are not being sent out yet to any appraisers ?
I don't believe Bradford is selling theOh c'mon, you act like the software doesn't work unless I have an order from a lender or it's hooked up to a GSE. And there is ZERO chance any appraiser can crash TOTAL, Clickforms, etc. by generating a sample report.
