You must sit on a golden pedestal. Only he can judge me.

Hi everyone, I am in Los Angeles and applying for VA approval and one their requirements is 2 Letters of Reference from an Appraiser. I don't know too many appraisers around me since I have been on my own for the past 20 years. Anyone interested in swapping letter of references? If you are applying for VA and would like to exchange a letter of reference please IM me. Thanks.
Rick, this isnt the way to go about it. I get it, we are lonewolves, me likely more than anyone, but this isnt the way to get on the VA Panel

I make it a point to know the competition. Be they brokers, agents, or other appraisers. I've seen work by other appraisers in my area and quite frankly some of them.......should not be licensed, On the other hand some of the work is fantastic and I respect them as peers. If I have questions there are many local appraisers I can call up with and get advice and/or opinions and they do the same with me. Also I have taught appraising classes and/or done presentations many times for brokers/agents in my area. Just my humble opinion but it's a good thing to know as many people as possible in this profession.

I also do have much contact with other appraisers at this time, but what I did was go back and find appraisers I worked with in the past.
