Waiting For Btc To Hit 4000-3800, Then All Balls In!

If you bought at $3-$4k AND and you did not by anytime in the last year and half above $6k then congrats to you. If your dollar cost average price is $3k-$4k, a rational person would peel some off here around $8k-$9k or at least not be buying more after a sharp move up to $8-$9k. Just in case. But no. All they can think about right now is ATH, $100k, $200k+ and they are buying more here at $8k-$9k.

So yes. I will keep waiting and watching until there is at least a 30-40% flush. And then after that I'll see if it is actually trending higher or if it continues trending lower.

I like the SPY January 2021 $270 calls today for $18. Can probably sell for $30+ when it hits new ATH. I like that better than bitcoin at $8-$9k today. Give me flush to $5-$6k maybe I will buy some Bitcoin.

Yeah I was lucky enough to get in Jan 2017; wished it was earlier, as I had been curious for many years but kinda dropped the ball for a few years...I believe in these assets long term potential and hold a good amount of eth and iota as well as btc. I just hold for now...

Well ****. If you bought BTC for $1000 and ETH for $14 in January 2017, and did not add anymore since then, good for you.

I don't look at people like you and say "I too can get 20x - 100x my money in a few years".

Let me tell you what I think is different today from January 2017.

1) By December 2017, Bitcoin reached mainstream awareness. Not mainstream adoption but mainstream awareness.
2) Bitcoin was a one sided market until 2018.

Now, I think it is possible that it could go to $100k, $200k, $300k+. I also don't think it is impossible that everything goes back to your January 2017 price. I think it is foolish to think that it is guaranteed to go to $100k, $200k, $300k+.

Oh for sure. Totally agree w the points you have made above...it’ll go up or down (possibly even to $1-2,000 level again). I actually went on to accumulate more after my initial buys, and also have an alt portfolio. However, I did completely stop once btc was up at $8-9,000. I always have held, never selling any CC, then started more accumulation starting around $3,300 (after btc rocketed up to $19,000 and then fell like a rock) til about a few weeks ago. It’s a fairly risky investment, but is a calculated risk. Fundamentals of btc keep getting stronger, while I worry somewhat about the future of fiat currency.

Tickling 10K at this point.
It sure is!, I see overbought on the RSI and Stochastic, plus where is the volume on the daily? What are you thinking?

I don't trade BTC, but if I did it's a long term hold.

Depending where one bought it, taking a portion of the position off would not be a bad play and would likely make holding it long term easier knowing you already banked something on the trade.

Good luck to all.

Definitely a long term hold, the technicals have me wondering. Maybe get ready to add to the alt-coins if it turns.
