I am still doing nothing.
Good move, JF.

The key w this emerging market is buying the dips, only buying what you can afford to lose, and holding for 5-10 years. I appraise out in semi-rural / sticks locations... there is an “anti-bitcoin/anti crypto currency movement”. Why? You can simply memorize your key words, or store a scrap of paper with them on it...Granted, the government has the military. However, fiat currency loses every year and the printing presses continue.

If you are in and have sold...the IRS is looking for you, and yes, they know who you are.

I have never sold a cent worth of CC for fiat, or purchased anything, so do not owe the IRS until that day comes. When it does, of course I will pay all my taxes owed...

Nearly $50 million was swiped from a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, the industry’s latest setback as it struggles with problems still plaguing cryptocurrencies and the venues where investors trade them.

Upbit, one of South Korea’s largest crypto exchanges, said 342,000 ether coins—worth roughly $49.2 million—were sent to an unidentified crypto wallet Wednesday afternoon. The company revealed the wallet address where the coins were sent and said it reported the incident to South Korean authorities who are investigating the matter.
Upbit said it has barred all cryptocurrency withdrawals and deposits at the exchange since the heist, a ban that the exchange said could last at least two weeks.

Hey I look at Powell and Trump... looks like they want to cook bitcoin into another fiat situation for the financial elites at present day dollars. But if not, maybe hold a few crypto for a future folded into novelty quanta as well as calculus crypto Bittcoin quanta.

Do you see how Bull**** begins to fly with notional fiat? I think financial instruments are in a constant state of change based on the observers clout and physics.

The only solution for the general public is for them to listen to Billy Joel performances. An antidote and inoculation for ..... you name it. Play Billy play !

WSJ 12/7/19 Financial spousal abuse story:

"Joe Seanor, a former Central Intelligence Agency analyst who is now an investigative and security consultant, says abusers today have a better grasp of technology than in years past.

“Technology is being used as a quick and easy way for a husband to abuse a wife,” he says.

Several of the abusers Mr. Seanor has investigated use cryptocurrency to hide assets from their wives. Their goal: to pay less alimony and child support following a divorce. Abusers may also use their company’s virtual private network to encrypt communications, which makes it more difficult to track online activity, he says."
