What are you doing to cut costs?

What have I been doing to cut costs? Fewer appraisals.

Like others I am thinking about switching to E-fax, I only have 1 client left that faxes.
1 client??? Make the switch TC. How many of us will it take to convince you??? You won't regret it once you get used to it. Your wallet will thank you!!! Plus it's great when you need to send faxes. Cover sheets are easy and you get immediate confirmation that the fax went through. Fax machines are antiquated!!!

I know, Mr. S., but until a year ago, I had 3 clients that used a fax machine. I'm on it.

Doesn't matter whether your clients use fax machines or not. Efax is the equivalent of a fax machine!!! Regardless, I'm glad you're on it.

Life's too short to drink cheap beer.

And too short to worry much about the fact it takes $10 - $15 to fill my bikes gas tank instead of $5. I'm taking that long Sunday ride anyway.

I really don't have too many excess costs. No debt payments. :new_llying:

I guess I could ditch the land line. But I'd probably need to make my first ever 911 call the next week, and they wouldn't know where I was calling from. And then I'd die needlessly. :leeann2:

I dumped MLS. With so many of the gold coat brigade dropping out of the biz, I give them $50 for their MLS log ins. :)

As for cheap beer... NEVER. But then again, living near Highway 9 and as our peaches are coming ripe, we have plenty of summer time lighting. No worries here about running out.

Beer is clearly a priority for the masses of appraisers and must be given much respect with current times.

St. Pauli Girl and Grolsch, both reasonably good quality imported beers for 10.99+tax at Wally World. Less than 12 dollars total, less than a buck a beer!!! What more can you ask for? That is what I call cheap beer!!! Throw me some lower #'s for a good tasting beer.

They are quality, good tasting, imported beers. They easily blow the socks off of the local mass produced beer in the USofA, for only a few pennies more!!!!!

Agreed. Efax is like the McDonalds of on line faxing. There is much good competition these days.
So how do the costs of an internet fax compare with a land fax line? I estimate my fax line costs me about $30 a month. Also, what about sending a fax, how does that work? I have a few regular clients who still send by fax. It's notifying everyone and changing advertising that really concerns me.
