Not quitting, just relegating Appraisal efforts to a secondary role. I saw the brake lights being tapped last year and I secured a job that pays solid benefits and still allows me to do appraisal in the evenings, mornings, and/or weekends.
I'll be happy doing 1 or 2 appraisals per week, so it's close to quitting; just enough to still make the expenses worthwhile - can write-off a few things by maintaining my own operation.
