By the time it is fact checked who cares? Didn't the fine people hoax take 3 years for fact checkers to fact check, and its not like it wasn't a popular go to for Democrats, being used even after the fact check. True by the time you are fact checked you either move on, or double down.

They constantly lie, and move on when they feel enough people catch on to their lies. Sometimes its the rapid fire lies and then you go but they just lied in this one instance, and then drip drip the other lies are exposed and you are told to just moveon its in the past! These folks, and we see it in the posters here, seethe with resentment over alleged imagined slights and wrongs are using tragedies to spread falsehoods and hate, we saw it in Hurricane Helene, and now here they are using a wildfire to spread lies about DEI, using10 very late in the game false alarms which went out (and did nothing more than that, who knows if that report is real) and so on. They truly have no bottom, no low to which they will not sink

Then they turn around and say, "You have no sense of humor ) .
Indeed, they do not show compassion or empathy. They simply can not help themselves it seems.

The reference I made to the false evacuation alarms came from watching a young mother being interviewed. She said her family was terrified and waiting for information on whether or not they would have to evacuate, after receiving an evacuation alert she gathered her kids and pets and rushed to leave. After leaving her home she received another alert stating she didn't need to leave. You could feel her trauma and who knows what could have happened trying to evacuate.

Worse, I saw a local tv station that was in the middle of providing critical updates to the situation when the presenter's cell phone alarm went off along with several others on the set. A colleague off camera read the evacuation alert on air and the presenter proceeded to leave. A guess the viewers who were watching intently for any crucial information thought that it was, your words, "nothing more than that".

Get the real figures for the budget in CA for the DEI program and then the budgets for the fire department sand police departments and get back to me on it. Give me some hard facts that support the assumption and get back to us.

IT was just one of many programs out there. I bet far more $ are spent on farm subsidies. Let's blame that ( sarcasm intended. ) Because that money went to fire prevention instead....

What is disturbing is the blame game played within hours of a disaster, filled with a narrative of falsehoods and unproven innuendo, and the same thing was done by the RW after Hurricane Helen, which shows it is a pattern - the exploitation of any natural disaster for an agenda -

PS, maybe farm subsidies should be stopped. Put the money to other good use. Use it to pay down the deficit. Let the farmers compete like anyone else. Encoursgte the many overnight in America to eat less when they complain that food prices rose because of it.
