workers to appraisal output monthly?

50 appraisals per month is pretty high above the 'average' for experienced appraisers that take verification due diligence very seriously.

I wish I could go back to the good old days so I could be as good as I was when I was a trainee......

...We average 200 a month. that would put us at 50 a piece (receptionist helps out but no input so not counted) just curious to know if we are up there or average or what...

Whether such is "average" or not depends upon the quality of the output.

Tjvetrone, The thing that concerns us, is not your bragging, nor jealousy on the amount of work you do. The issue we have, is that you do not see what the real concerns are with your OP. If you can not see them....... that is the problem.

If you can crank that many out and do it USPAP compliant, more power to you. I would be more interested in your business model, mainly, how are you getting that volume is these down times? Sounds like you have some good clients.

200 a month now is phenominal. Feel lucky, very lucky. How can you get that many assignments a month unless it is AMC work. I am highly ethical appraiser and I have no mortgage broker clients left because I don't play "hit the number."

One certified? How much experience?

Do you charge decent fees?

How does a supervisor inspect 200 properties a month?

50 appraisals a month (by a trainee), 12 appraisals a week, 2 a day working 6 days a week. Must be cookie-cutter city.....

How does one verify all the sales (calling the buying and selling Realtors), how much information is typed in the additional comments section? Is there ever an addendum for more challenging properties?

Just things that make a person go "HHHMMMMM....."

Maybe they use this same form from the post the other day:unsure:

Then while checking out the appraisal company website I came across a sample appraisal.
Is this the type of product that is rewarded with tons of volume?
I'm speechless!

If you want me too, I can review your last appraisal and get back, give the results, and maybe clear up somethings?

WB, we would all love to see one of 200 or 50-65 of the OPs just for fun.
