You know you're getting old when

I heard a McDonald burger doesn't get mold. Stays that way for years and years.
I worked for a custom farmer in my youth. One fall, we opened a package of ArchWay cookies and did not finish them before quitting for the year. Midway through the next summer, when we found that package in the cupboard of the little airstream that served as camp, the cookies were as soft and fresh as the day we opened the package. Based on how well preserved I am still, I expect a few more decades of continued freshness.

When you try to hang with your 35 year old in a weight room workout.

Sunday was bruuuuuutal!

When most in the gym are 3X younger in age than you.

That's also true with many appraisers. I knew many who worked into their 70's & 80's. I check myself constantly for appraiser mold.

You know you're getting old when

After decades in the appraisal profession, in pursuit of supporting the American dream of home ownership for your fellow citizens, you realize the entire lending system is beyond corrupted, that appraisers are for the most part a bunch of self serving corrupted people as well, you are constantly treated like human garbage, and now have no retirement or career prospects.

Tonight I was opening my red wine bottle with a corkscrew.
When it came out, the cork was still stuck on the corkscrew. I tried to take it out but couldn't.
Then I saw red stains on the cork and I wiped it.
Then there were more red stains on my quartz countertop and I wiped it.
But there continued to be red stains.
Then I looked at my thumb and I saw it was bleeding.
First time this happened to me.

Try cutting your ketamine dosage down a notch or three…
