Offered a bribe!

Uhhhhhhh...Curt Van Hooser is not my real name. It is the name of an appraiser I once met and am out to get even with over a bad review...yeah, that's the ticket....

Say, an apology right about now would go a long way.

So many here "know me" in an entirely different manner than you, and the usual suspects, and all from the *same* posts. Imagine that. That tells me you're determined to go the way of the few, rather than the many, and while that is your choice don't blame me for your invincible determination to see something that isn't true.

I'll bow out of this thread, too, as is always my lot once you and the few pop up. Mentor can feel free to make his immortal observation any time now.

Dave...

I apologize AA... I didn't actually say anything but I may have thought it, however briefly.

Yeah, well...with a moniker like mine, who takes me seriously?

I would have taken it, stayed up all night finishing the damn thing, and called it a "rush Fee" based upon the purpose stated for the extra cash.

...

My bold......

AMAZING...

(Breaking my silence due to one of the usual suspects going insane again.)

What McNamara failed to *also* quote was the following sentence in that post, which said:

"Well, maybe I would've, anyway, I am growing severely impatient with certain aspects of this business."

Yes, amazing, McNamara, your willingness to present an incomplete argument, that is..

I voice my anger at the situation, give my honest gut feeling upon reflection of the story, but McNamara can't be bothered to give me a fair shake.

And yes, I'd love to take that money. Some idiot wants to give me money? His loss, my gain, IF I really wanted to defend that position sometime down the road should it ever come to a head. SO LONG AS I DON'T DO ANYTHING BIASED IN THE REPORT AFTERWARDS. I wouldn't take it, but I'd I sure love to relieve the idiot, no doubt.

Again I'd love to see the idiot's complaint, as the moment he tried he'd have to admit he was in effect asking for a lie which he didn't get.
Always the same people, always.

Your honest gut feeling is that maybe you would have accepted the bribe and called it as rush fee because you are severely impatient with certain aspects of this business?:Eyecrazy:

Right, like no one ere besides me gets frustrated and thinks of that sort of thing. Like no one else but yours truly would have loved nothing more than to taken that fool's money and watch him try to play it out. Right. No one would even think it, not even for a second. Right.

Honestly, the uber-appraisers here are few, but man do they make themselves known.

Dave...

We all get frustrated. Thinking of taking a bribe doesn't enter into the picture.

I wouldn't. I can't speak for others.

No one would even think it, not even for a second. Right.

Accepting some scumbag's bribe money? Nope, not for a second.

Honestly, the uber-appraisers here are few, but man do they make themselves known.

Uber-Appraisers? I like that.

McNamara

Sorry, no I don't have those thoughts, frustrated or otherwise. I was taught two wrongs do not make a right. Call me an uber-appraiser if you want, but that is how I was raised.

I see. And since you have decided what is, and what is not 'right' you believe the case to be closed. And that is your right. You apparently were "raised" better than me, which may very well be the case.

However, I have those thoughts, and despite McNamara's protest to the contrary, I would think it, and whether or not he believes it germane to "the picture" or not is irrelevant to me.

Now, two all can continue to derail this thread as long as you like, but I'd rather we just call a cease fire for the sake of others, unless you genuinely find it necessary to continue analyzing my thoughts to no end and for no purpose.
