Carson is the man for the job. Notice he studied it a good while. He is going to drain some swamp and apply that money where it needs to go (new low to middle income family housing and neighborhood development).

Not a bad person, just one who just doesn't have a firm grasp of the English language! Or perhaps you could explain how pointing out that the man that selected Dr. Carson labeled the good doctor as "pathological" not that long ago qualifies as whining. Doesn't fit the definition of whining by any stretch of the imagination. But then many here never let facts or reality get in the way of their posts!!! The Post-truth Appraisers Club????

Good points. Poverty areas is where somebody could do wonders in that position. I hope he realizes that. Being African American couldn't hurt anything. Commercial and residential Carson could do wonders in poverty stricken areas. He can. Will He or can he? Idk.

The CAN part is the big question due to the questionability of commitment of resources behind him. His heart seems good but he is rich as a hogs butt so idk. He seems compassionate.

1. Carson is really intelligent.
2. Carson knows how to solve problems using a team approach.
3. Carson has integrity.
4. Carson has a burden for the inner city.
5. Carson has lived in the areas he is trying to develop and understands the culture.

I'll take that over real estate lawyer any day.

What really strikes me as ironic is that 6-months ago, those who were arguing the other side is full of racists, haters, and will do anything to torpedo their side has now switched places, using tactics including smears, hate, and racism.

And the guy hasn't even taken the oath of office yet.

I have a new saying, which I made up (as far as I know) and which I will start to attribute to myself:
Hypocrisy is best exposed when the shoe is on the other foot.

Why is that hypocrisy? What I wrote was not meant to belittle Ben Carson, as he is a smart and accomplished man, (with no experience for the agency but neither do half of Trump's cabinet picks have any experience for their agency). My comment related to Trump, imo to quell charges that he has no minorities in any key positions, he chose Carson to fit the bill.
