ACI just down or out of business

I am not affected because I am an Almode user ( though it might be my turn one day)

I am not a lawyer and do not even play one on TV. However, if this damages any of your business with client retention or loss of revenue, or having to pay for new software -perhaps you can join up for a class action suit regarding ACI - they should have been reaching out for conversion file solutions and to make no effort not inform you guys or inform the clients or offer any solution whatsoever, - atrocious.

I hope you are all up and functioning soon.

I bought an alamode Total license last week and it is working fine. I am keeping ACI for now due to having used it for a long time - I was one of their first customers back in the day.

I am slowly having to agree with you because 6th day without a fix...well, they've had time to do something. They know how time driven reports are.
Yeah, there's something to be said for that ... lets see what happens during this (short) week ... my desire to switch software providers is at something less than zero, so I'm more patient than some of y'all have been ...

You would think ACI could provide a standalone web site or tool to convert the files into XML or ENV since everything else has a work-around. Perhaps no such tool exists; perhaps no alternate web site is possible. How is one to know when ACI won't provide a word of communication.

Oh come one, to do that they would have to divert a few dollars from paying out upper management big bonuses and payouts to stockholders- if they actually chose to invest in something that would benefit the appraisers who pay for their product -

Problem is ACI is a tiny part of their (FAF) overall business. This has forced cancellation of hundreds of closings, and so ACI is probably on their own until the parent company has solved the real problem. Again, that is why I want to deal with only independents, like Clickforms, SFREP, HomePuter...

Well obviously ACI doesn't care one bit about its customers and business.... I do understand the lack of emails out but there's no reason whatsoever they can't communicate with customers via twitter or set up a standalone site. Anyone here could put up a website for communications in an hour with no tech expertise whatsoever and probably a $100 or less investment.
