So glad you survive. Never would have suspected that you had such a major health issue.
My younger sister died of stroke. Sometimes I wondered if my brother in law could have done more in helping her.
It was a little present from Covid. Happened 1 week after I tested positive. Which is a good thing, it was a one off, not on any blood thinners and not a ticking time bomb for another.

Few people know what to do or even how to diagnose a stroke.

how can there be too many?
My doctor recommended I do it 2 times a day, resting at least 10 minutes before hand. I kept a record for several years and frankly it told me very little. I was generally "OK" but occasionally higher than normal. But what can you do? Rest and not think about it until it goes down. Same with blood sugar - you cannot simply 'dump' blood sugar instantly. Exercise helps burn it off though.

your heart and lungs are connected. inhale slowly through the nose, exhale slowly through the nose. your bp will drop

I thought strokes happen to people over 60. At first, I thought it was due to the chemotherapy she went through earlier. I suspect she caught cancer from her workplace. It can't be genetics.
Yes, I'm paranoid.

. It can't be genetics.
People react to Chemo differently. I knew a fellow diagnosed with adult onset Leukemia. He died while undergoing his first chemo treatment. He was an 7thDay Adventist and ate very healthy. His family had no history of heart disease nor cancer. It happens and while you can 'catch' cancer from exposure, who knows when and where? One of my former trainees (RIP Stephen) has a brother who is a chemist - PhD who was occasionally asked to comment on national news, a professor at W. Virginia University. As Steve explained his brother felt that cancer can be caused by a singular event but what event was more difficult to say. Was it when a small stray cloud of nuclear radiation just happened to settle on you impacting a susceptible gene in a single cell? Or perhaps you ingested something that had an adverse impact upon your personal biochemist. Or did it involve repeated exposures to say cigarettes? Second-hand smoke?

Clearly Genetics and family history is important but even a smoker who gets lung cancer may have gotten it from exposure to other carcinogens rather than a cigarette. And your bodies reaction is unknowable. A friend noted that his father and uncle were diagnosed with and died of lung cancer. His father died in about 8 months. His uncle in 15 years or so.

Interesting how much the range has fallen in the past 50+ years....

Thanks for the update.
Haven't measured my for weeks and I just measured.
I seem to be in borderline consistently. I try not to get too stress and take stress vitamin pills to try to get blood pressure lower.
