If I have to walk someone through a remote measure of their home, it makes more sense and if probably more efficient to actually do the measurement myself.
You're not the only one who feels that way. Personally - I'd much prefer someone else walking the perimeter of a home in 15 degrees - all while I'm sitting in my warm office. That's just me, though.

So all of this is really not to save the homeowner any money for an Appraisal. No. to many tech companies are getting into this to snatch away some of our money and speed up the lengthy Loan Process.

Look how many are trying to get in this game.

remember too that appraisal isn't the only potential application of this evolving technology... :)

Well there is more to it like you said. 5G is what is making all this possible. My Brother worked for 30+ years at IBM. He was kind of a Super Sleuth type with them. Shuttle launch his team knows when someone is probing...actually he said the # of attacks rises dramatically.

Here is an example of what is coming fast down the road. Eventually all new appliances will be connected to the manufacturer via 5G. So when you Washing machine use reaches certain hours of usage and or a problem begins to occur the washing machine will communicate impending end of life or possible malfunction. Factory will automatically send a part to your Service Provider. and schedule a service Blah Blah You get the picture!

Amazing!

I signed up for my free trial. It takes longer to 'scan' a room then I can draw it in the field. So you send it, but how do you know its acceptable....big problem since you'd have to go back. So far not impressed. Still waiting for my finished sketch. : (

Still waiting .. .. .. .. .. 30+ minutes

Got my diagram, took almost an hour. Floor plan is surprisingly accurate. Measurements are not ANSI, not to 0.1 foot even though I signed up for ANSI. Most outside 'estimates' were about 1/2 foot off. It had my first floor at 1402 sf and the county has it at 1510. So Cubi AI is semi-AI, or Zillow-like intelligence....given the right circumstances, like an REO, then someone will have some 'explainin' to do. I'll give it three out of five stars.

Have you measured the first floor personally? If so, what did you come up with?
