Global Economy Bursting?

Silver is a much better value right now. There are currently two possibilities based on historical norms: either gold is properly valued and silver undervalued, or gold is overvalued and silver is properly valued. In both cases silver is the better buy. Also, don't forget to invest in copper jacketed lead.

When I was young I collected coins. In the late 70's the Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market. I was able to sell $10.00 rolls of silver quarters for $450.00. The market peaked at 50X face value and then collapsed as the Hunt brothers gave it up.

collecting and turning a profit on gold, silver coins. Beans, ammo and gold/silver should keep one happy for a while!!

The Hunt brothers would have been better off trying to sell a book titled, "How to Squander Billions of Dollars." :rof:

Most things have a normal range of value in the economy in relation to other things. Anytime something climbs in price well above that range it is time to sell, not buy. When things are below that range, it is usually a good time to buy some. Obviously there are instances when something becomes obsolete, or demand/supply is fundamentally altered to change the ratios for something, but that is not likely for the ratio of gold and silver anytime soon.

I'm opening a pool here and now on net population loss ((or gain!)) in California by January 30th, 2013.
Bets in 1/10% increments.
?? Who wants -5.3%??
Winners are the two bets closest to published numbers.

Frontal lobes and hungry stomachs

Frontal lobes are outnumbered by the hungry stomachs ....

Maybe we should develope high speed rail in Africa - we could just print the money over here in the US and load it on the high speed trains and deliver it all over the world.
