Country legend donates $1 million to Hurricane Helene relief efforts


Legendary singer and songwriter Dolly Parton makes an appearance in Tennessee and donates $1 million dollars to Hurricane Helene relief.

is extremely generous since she remembers her own impoverished childhood. As reviled as they are, Walmart, Tyson and most larger food companies are donating a lot of goods and money themselves. Parton announced that at a Walmart. Her Dollywood company also had already worked with its sponsorship partner Coca-Cola to donate a semi-truck full of water for distribution in Cocke County. Dollywood has also donated 60,000 reusable masks, 30,000 disposable protective garments and 2.5 million disposable masks to be used for cleanup efforts across East Tennessee.

Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner announced the company, including Sam’s Club and the Walmart Foundation, would also be donating a total of $10 million to hurricane relief efforts across the affected states.

Morgan Wallen also donated a half of a million and Ivanka Trump helped out by delivering 300 Starlink systems from SpaceX to the relief work. These systems will let people in the US state keep in touch over super fast internet. And former president Trump's fundraiser to benefit victims of Hurricane Helene has raised more than two million dollars as of Tuesday, it has received over 14,000 donations.

Tyson Foods Inc. has deployed its Meals that Matter team to areas afflicted by Hurricane Helene and served approximately 29,500 meals.

Probably $10 Billion a month for a year to relocate people out of harms way and rebuild the infrastructure.
