Scientiss and climatologists have bren warning about "freak storms" for decades now - some ignore their data - there are freak storms in nature through history but now we see them one after another , with hurricanes and flooding, Like Hurricane Sandy, in areas that never experienced them geofre.

But Dril Baby Drill will address it. ( posted out of frustration here ). Many in one party deny climate change and call it a hoax. Look outside, and nature is telling us otherwise.

The storm-affected areas are getting help now and will receive tens of billions plus of federal aid by the time the assistance to indiausls and areas is finished - which can extend to well over a year.

Government funds are allocated to many different areas other than FEMA. Trump picked the funds allocated to immigrants and targeted it for deeomoinazion, teh way he lays blames to everything to illegal immigrants.

And yes, once again, Trump lied to divide the country and weaken us and make a tragedy all about him.

No, it is not. This claim is spreading so widely in the aftermath of Helene that FEMA set up a website to debunk it and other falsehoods.
Though FEMA and migrant relief programs are both part of the Department of Homeland Security, funds for each sit in separate accounts that are not intermingled. And the money earmarked for assistance to migrants can’t just be shifted to cover hurricane costs.

Still, former president Donald Trump has continued to repeat the falsehood about migrants during campaign rallies and on Truth Social, his social media platform.

This has already been fact checked. It is a partial truth.

focus on the agency was fueled when Mayorkas said last week that FEMA does "not have the funds to make it through the season," although he said it did have enough for "immediate needs." The administration has pushed for Congress to return and pass a spending bill to provide additional funding for the hurricane season.

But the questions over funding led critics to look at the $650 million provided for grants to help illegal immigrants in the Shelter and Services Program (SSP). It led to accusations, including from former President Trump, that money that could have gone to disaster relief was being diverted. The administration pointed to the fact that the funding is congressionally appropriated and is separate from the much larger Disaster Relief Fund.
