Is It Super Slow Or What?

Best month this year for me as well, and that's not based on a half of the previous months, that's based on the whole of the previous months. Luckily picked up 2 private jobs, and 4 jobs from first time clients.
 
Kind of slow with many requests to complete MI-3s out in the boonies. In total, it adds up to an average of about $461.25 per so far this month....many requests to quote but I charge too much because I'm that good ;) (kidding, relax).

A few of the correspondents that I do work for are taking apps but clearing conditions sounds like it's an ongoing issue. Adjusting to the changes I believe is slowing things up a bit.

Summary- Nobody is knocking down my door this month and I am out smiling and shaking hands regularly. It has and will likely be a messy couple of months IMHO (hot and cold).
 
Wow! 25 orders pumped out in 11 days for a wow again 1,250... mang you must be rich now...

I, myself have performed three forensic field reviews at 650 a pop in 11 days... do the math skippy, that's 3.

I should be reaching that county pretty soon.... make sure you mark all your boxes in the correct manner, and pray it's not one of yours.

Things are pretty slow for you I take it...just did 4 appraisals today I don't know of these boxes you speak of?

Btw who is the skippy I work 4 city's how many counties do you work?

It has been unusally slow here. But on the bright side, there have been no sales to use as comps! Like Monty Python said... "always look on the bright side of life".

It's not that we aren't important enough...it's that they know the AMC's don't pay us enough to afford airfare.

6 REO commercial reports, 2 commercial refi's, 1 private commercial
3 plus another today forensic field review for residential

cover six counties from ventura all the way south to the border.

you must mean 4 counties rather than 4 cities right?
let me guess, riverside, san berdo, orange, and san diego or maybe LA.

or maybe 4 cities were correct and those are Redland, Yucaipa, Highland, and Mo valley.... all the cities packed with the most short sales and REOs.... am I right, am I right...

I think many of us here find your comment inappropriate, and inaccurate.

My guess would be most of us would not find this comment inappropriate or inaccurate. I would also guess that those of us staying busy with full and high fee work, are the exception and not the rule. Maybe that will change with the new C&R fees, but only time will tell. I know of a few longtime good Appraisers that could no longer survive in this business in the past few years.

Work R B steady...not much residential and I don't take secondary market.. No AMCs.

The average fee so far this year is above my average of last year and I am pacing pretty much the same numbers. I like my numbers. I do well under 200 per year now...down from over 300 in 06. Yet I make more money. Go figure.

Estate appraisal next week... 4 figures
Poultry farm ditto
2 large land parcels ... ditto.
Mini-warehouses ...ditto

No whiny UWs. All is peace and love and tranquility...
