Yes Wendy I can for now....I may have to change to Raeman Noodles here soon though! I guess this is a Country Wide slow down not just regional. I have not seen one positive post yet??? Anyone doing beyond average?

I feel lucky now. I have two on my desk now, but probably be doing yard work on Thursday unless something else comes in. I need to get a land line phone that vibrates so I can feel it ring when I'm on the mower.........

Two orders the whole month... It is killing me, not to mention MAy was the busiest of the year..

I'm swamped..........booked through the end of July and have been turning work down right and left. However, I have noticed that an increasing share of my work is "distressed" property. Not so much foreclosure yet, but some of the banks are taking a second look at their collateral and in some cases taking additional collateral to renew existing mortgages.

I actually wouldn't mind a little bit of a slowdown so that I could have time to finish my Demo Report.

Well..........back to the grind!

I think I accepted 5 res lending assignments this month, which is unusually high. Interestingly enough, two were from MBs...I have completed an MB assignment in eons. Both were due to lenders rejected the first reports submitted by whoever they were using. Plus we received numerous other review requests. We make it clear that doing a review and doing an appraisal are two separate assignments, and that the cost for doing so is higher than preparing a separate appraisal, so we very rarely get a review.

Nonlending work, as always, is streaming in. Plus plenty of commercial work referred to me this month.

Finally some positive responses...........I guess it pays to be a cheese head!

Actually for me its been the best month in over a year, about 25 so far this month, but its been a real mix of REO, refi, sale, review and estate work, about equally divided. And I live in the Boondocks, Don't normally have this much demand. I do love the estate work.................the judge just wants the truth.....................jt

Yes, WI is doing well. Sales are increasing here. I have done several sales this month that sold in the first week on the market at full price!
