Thanks, I wish I were as computer wise as my 19 year old. I don't know how to reply to a request of the letter I use to turn down request for "more similar" comparables from underwriters posted today on this fourm. Will try and figure it out. I agree with you, If I am finding fair market value, I never look at any posted value, just look at the market. In getting ready to send this I hope I figured out how to add my letter below.

#8587 I have had a few seasoned (25+ years of experience) appraisers that I know to ask me if I have had any problems since signing this. I do not think that I have experienced any repercussions; however, conviencing them of that is something else!

This is very good but why are there double signatures, in most cases a petition that has this problem would automatically be thrown out without question?

The "most cases" you refer to would be official, legal petitions that have certain requirements. A petition to recall an elected official, place someone on a ballot etc. would have strict standards. This Petition is simply an attempt to draw attentiaon the plight of the appraiser.

What a GREAT forum this is. I just recently joined, this is my first post, and I already signed that petition. Let me just say this, I honestly HOPE that the crap lenders get ahold of this list and NEVER EVER call me again.
