# 9273 To busy for rude and crapy lenders.

#9275 something has got to change

I signed, has anyone heard any new news on this petition or if anything is being done to combat this problem because I really get tired of people requesting comps first before an appraisal and then explaining to them why it's not a good ideal for them and definitly not a good deal for me to do it in the first place.

Wayne,
Doggone it! ya beat me too it. With glee I :)

In light of all these "discussions" about our renowned organizations "Appraiser Advocacy" I am not sure if anyone has noticed that not one recognized appraisal organization has a link to the petition that 9,449 have already signed at their websites. Yet, people are presenting these limelight issues to the public as if they were "new" shocking developments because of a recent press article by Forsythe.

The fact is that every day rank and file folks were on top of this situation years ago, the Petition went ignored by the Orgs themselves who missed the opportunity to expose it to the new appraisers who might venture over for guidance or interest in a designation.

Shameful.

Yeah, it's not like they testified before the senate banking committee about this problem in 2001 or anything. :leeann:
