Got to give credit to Gov Newsom to change narrative.
Crime and inflation are hindrance to the White House.
He's such an astute politician and not happy with Texas.
He is going to make CA a sanctuary state who those who want an abortion, all expense paid.
Also, CA will allow CA citizens to sue gun manufacturers of asasult rifles and ghost guns for victims of crime at least $10,000.
Thanks to Texas and Supreme Court (upholding vigilantes), Newsom shows he can push back and be in control.
He will appease majority of Americans when he runs for President.

Because car breakups are so prevalent (SF has 76 smash & grab per day), some car owners put a sign saying door is unlock or a post saying car has nothing inside.
Unfortunately, criminals know some people hide things under their car seats like me and will still break the windows.
In Oakland, there were photos showing some SUVs leaving their trunk open so no one will break their windows.

Walgreens use to be AAA tenant when I look for investable commercial properties.
Now in SF, many Walgreens have closed their stores because of the rampant thefts and high cost in security. Their policy is not to confront the criminals and organized crime has taken advantage of the stealing.
I knew the referendum California passed in 2014, which downgraded theft of property to a misdemeanor as long as its value is $950 or less would result in more thefts but I didn't anticipate these big box stores to close.
Target as well as CVS has same stealing problem and is resulting in high lost in revenues.

I have a commercial rental and the lost of Walgreens on my block will result in less foot traffic.
It not only hurt the commercial rents in area but seniors needing their prescription drugs have to find further proximity to get them.
Local politicians and DA office and police need to be more supportive and need more enforcement to deter the criminals.
It's tough to operate commercial business in SF.

Time to sell all of your CA properties, buy a palace for cash (less than $350K) somewhere in a deep Red State near the Gulf where its not crowded - and enjoy the rest of your life sipping Martinis by the beach.

Yesterday in San Jose about 15 people were stealing merchandise in Macys.
An employee was holding one stealer and another came and hit the employee. It now became a robbery and felony.
In a video, a police is seen "holding" one person outside the front door of the store and a lady (not sure related to the criminals) was seen coming close and saying something to the police.
The police then let the person go who fled and went after the lady and arrested her.
Not sure if police overreacted in getting the lady and letting the other flee.

There are two bills in CA to counter the smash and grab crimes.
One is to repeal Prop 47.
The other is to lower the threshold to $400 to be a misdemeanor.

They need to employ the Oakland Chapter of the Hells Angels to go out and take down all these low life thief's and whats needed in CALI is good old street justice. You don't see any smash and grab in Korea Town because they are armed to the teeth and they will shoot you dead. hell they used to hang horse thief's in the old west and a ZERO POLICY needs to be mandated almost no horses were stolen in mots communities and you could go watch a public hanging which was better than going-to a move theater and it was free
