To a minor degree. Florida often has deep flood water from the ocean that extends miles inland but the vegetation, freshwater sources, run off, etc. all seem to survive with damage that can only be considered negligible compared to the damage from the hurricanes. Not exactly, salt water can go more damage than good and not just to the equipment (hoses, trucks, planes, helicopters, ect). Salt is corrosive and the salt has to go somewhere....meaning it could damage vegetation, fresh water sources where the run off eventually will end up, streets, walks, ect.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice replaceable items to save lives besides, the cost of all of the planes, helicopters, trucks, etc. is little more than a rounding error compared to the $50-$100 Billion in damage that this fire has caused and continues to cause.
CA has prioritized "social justice" and endangered species over the safety and lives of its citizens and now they're paying the piper. I'm sure some of the LW out there and on this forum will try to find a way to blame Trump but the libs with any common sense are realizing how dangerous some of their sacred cow programs are to the people the claim to want to protect. Maybe they'll start to understand that elections have consequences and continuing to elect incompetent libs to positions of importance is destroying their state, doubtful but maybe.
And to our favorite FL LW TDS infected mouthpiece, have you noticed how, with every hurricane, DeSantis is blamed by the lib media but they have been eerily silent about exposing Newsome's utter incompetence? No, they wouldn't want to expose that fool's incompetence to the world, not when they plan to run him for president in a couple of years.
