How many Appraisals do you get a month from AppraiserUSA?

Wayne, this is to let you and all others out there know that your site really works.

I have a FREE listing and am trying to get the first appraisal request to upgrade, but unfortunately the last 3 that I have received last week were all from MB's requesting the infamous "Comp-Check", which I don't do, but fortunately because this is evidence of the exposure on your website.

Not your fault.

Don't worry about the comp check requests you will always get them, even with the "no comp check" box checked (although that will stop many of these). There are some appraisers that try to turn these in to paying appraisals, and are successful, and some are not.

If you don't want to mess with them, simply delete them and don't even reply. If you advertise anywhere, you will get such requests, it's a matter of filtering out the bad to get to the good.

I just posted earlier today and already found that the top 15 spots are taken. Do these spots become available at the end of the year, or whenever anyone decides that they don't want to pay anymore?

As long as a customer renews they can maintain their position. So if everyone renewed there wouldn't be a position available, sorry.

I got 3 orders in the past 2 years with a free listing.

According to the state site there are only 7 appraisers in my zip code.

But using the zip code feature there are 397 listings in my zip code, some over 100 miles away from my zip code.

Congrats! You are ahead of the game.

The zip code search returns the appraisers that SERVE the county that contains the zip code. It is not the appraisers whose office is LOCATED WITHIN that zip code.

To find which appraisers in our directory that are LOCATED WITHIN your zip code please use the zip code search located on the advanced search link.

Since signing up I get two calls a month, one is always a comp check request, the other always turns into an order. Additionally I am the preferred appraiser for a national company who found me through the site and do two a month for them. Those three assignments from the site are all I want per month. Thanks Wayne.

Not bad for a free listing!

A long over due Thank You to Wayne McKerley and AppraiserUSA

After receiving my certification in early 2000 I went out on my own. The only problem was that I didn't have any clients of my own. I created a web site and launched it but still no one called. After searching the internet looking for marketing ideas I came across a website called AppraiserUSA. The site said that appraisers could create 1 Free listing so I did just that. Although a bit skeptical at the time I figured what do I have to loose, after all it's Free!

About a half hour after creating my Free listing I received a call from a loan officer in California who was looking for an appraiser who covered Southington Connecticut. After hanging up with the loan officer I remember thinking to myself, I can't believe it works! I was so excited that I went back to AppraiserUSA and bought all of the top directory positions for all of the counties in Connecticut that I serviced. I figured if it worked once then it work again and it did! We now have over 350 clients, most of which found us over the years through our listing on AppraiserUSA.

I would recommend AppraiserUSA to anyone who is looking to expand his/her internet presence and would encourage everyone to purchase a top directory position if available.

Thanks Again,
Rob Clermont

Thank you Rob for your kind words and your business over the years!

Hmmmm

I had a free listing and think I got 3 emails within a year and a half for Comp Checks. Being new in the business at the time, I was naive and willing to complete these "neighborhood ranges" in hopes they would turn into appraisals. Unfortunately, none of them did. But, after reading these posts, I have applied for a #1 listing and (crossing my fingers) hope that it comes through (in at least 1 of my 3 counties)!:icon_mrgreen:
