The Decline of the Appraisal Industry: An Unsustainable Future

No. Season here is rain or no rain. It's been 3 days and I assumed ground has dried.
And speaking of dog poo, brings back terrible memories. Can't believe dog owners let their dogs poo like animals infested with poo in the yard.
Well, that is more admirable than your approach where you let your dog crap in others' yards.

Where, exactly, does your's "poo"?

You may have a difficult time swallowing all the food that chicken shiot has fertilized if dog crap troubles you so.

Did you know those eggs you eat were produced by birds that ate dead chickens ground up in their feed?

Just trying to help the ole city boy have a little insight to the country boy life......

I would think people would periodically scoop it up. I think that is the message. When you go in a yard and its obvious no one has scooped in quite a while.

Is it me? Haven't you been to a rear yard where poop is everywhere and you're bound to step on one of those land mines.
Owner knew I was coming and should have cleaned it up. Gives me a mindset of the poop in the owner's head.

Clean the poo out of the back yard for the appraiser. I'm sure you expect them to have milk and cookies waiting for you as well.

Some owners offer me water but I would decline saying I have water in my car whether it's true or not.
And do I look so dehydrated?
Some are nice and offer me their fruits from their yard.
Yesterday, there was overgrown fruit tree at a vacant house. Big o' fruit and just took one (only one fit in my pocket). Otherwise they would just rot on the ground.
When I offered the fruit to my wife, she said "Why didn't you take more!"

hat's exactly what brought down the savings-and-loan industry. Holding their own loans.
Deregulating S & L's (another Jimmy Carter initiative) resulted in the S & L lambs being thrown to the Wall Street wolves. S & L owners didn't know what they were doing. Jim McDougal repeatedly stated he was too inexperienced at banking when he bought the old Madison Savings and Loan (remember White Water?) and a small bank in Kingston, Arkansas (see photos) Jim borrowed brokered money from Wall street for wannabe developers like Hillary and Bill as well as Bill's successor, Jim Guy Tucker to get into the Casa Grande mess where Jimmy's sweet young wife was advertising on TV wearing her signature hot pants and touting the virtues of country living. All those loans were financed 200 miles from Little Rock by a bank the size of my garage.

When I looked at the top 20 banks in Bay Area 30 years ago, most of them or gone or bought out/merged.
Competitive market and if can't adapt, like other businesses, go out of the market.
